2/10 Game Over

All of these videogame consoles are great. However, the Xbox 360 is the best one. The Xbox 360 has more high quality games then both the Playstation 3, and the Wii. It has the potential of a good entertainment system and has a very secure online network. Some people argue that the Playstation 3 is better due to the better graphics. Others believe that the Wii is better due to its family friendly nature. However, the Xbox 360 excels are the one thing that game consoles are supposed to offer, gaming.

All these three gaming systems are really good. They all have good games and cost about the same price. They each have the ability to go online. These systems also have motion control gaming, the wii comes with it, but with the Xbox and the Playstation you have to pay extra.These game consoles are actually very similar.
However, these game consoles also have many differences. The Playstation 3 can play Blu-Ray movies, the Xbox 360 can play DVD's, and the Wii can't play movies at all. Even though all the game consoles can go online, the Playstation and the Wii can go online for free, while on the Xbox you have to pay money. However, the Xbox 360 is made for online gaming, while the Playstation 3 is made for entertainment, and the Wii is more family oriented.

The Xbox 360 is a great game console.  The Xbox 360 is about the same price as the Playstation 3, and has a huge selection of games.  The Xbox 360 is a great entertainment system, however the its main focus is gaming.  Its games are mainly for the hardcore gamers, with Franchises such as Halo, Gears of War, and Mass Effect.
The Xbox 360 has many great assets that it brings to the table.  The best asset that its online is good and well protected.  However, the downside to that you need to pay for online.  Its price is 60 dollars for a whole year for online.

2/5 The Playstation 3

The Playstation 3 is a great game system.  The Playstation 3 is a little more expensive then the Wii, but has a much larger selection of games. The Playstation 3's main focus is multi-purpose entertainment system.  It's games are more focused to the hardcore gamers with games such as Kill Zone, Uncharted, and The Last of Us.
The Playstation 3 has many good features.  However, its best feature is that it has a Blu-Ray player. This allows the user to watch Blu-Ray movies. This technology gives the Playstation greater graphics. Its worst feature is that its online network is not very secure. Its online network is constantly getting hacked.

2/4 The Wii

The Wii is a good game system.  The Wii is great for family friendly gaming.  It is cheap, and has a good amount of games to play.  It is small in size making it easier to transport.  All gaming is motion controlled, unless you get a special Wii remote.  However, this remote is not included.
It has many good assets.  However, the best asset is the fact that you can play the Classic Nintendo games by purchasing them on the Wii store.  These Classic games will send you back to a better time.  However, it does have its flaws.  Its biggest flaw is that it can not play any DVD's.  If you want to watch a movie you have to have Netflix, or Hulu Plus.

Most days after school, I go home and relax.  I enjoy playing video games when I have free time.  Video games are just something I can do to forget about my problems in real life.  However, I got to thinking, which game console is the best?

So I tested, researched and chosen three different game consoles.  I chose the Nintendo Wii, the Playstation 3, and the Xbox 360.  I have personally enjoyed playing each of these game consoles thoroughly.  However, the question still remains as to which game console is the best.
